This renovated colonial inspired a landscape that is simple yet lush. By pairing down plant material and focusing on masonry and texture,  dramatic spaces such as the gravel courtyard surrounded by pear trees push the homes architecture to the foreground. Modern finishes on the house are juxtaposed with the rustic stone walls and clean bluestone lines. The property evokes a feeling of tranquility and order which were inspired by the client’s love of soft blue green colors as found on the house and barn.
